Seems like it was just last year we printed our first issue — that’s because it was just last year. Come help celebrate Outer Banks Milepost’s ongoing immaturity — and the Interfaith Community Outreach’s continued generosity — with a backyard birthday fundraiser at the Outer Banks Brewing Station on Sept. 16 from 2pm-6pm.
There will be a lil’ grub. A lil’ swag. And a lot of music courtesy of the LM3 (Lucy Martier plus two mystery artists) and Chris Bickford. It’s all family friendly and totally free, with a portion of beverage sales benefiting the ICO’s efforts to help local families in need. But bring some one-dollar bills for “suggested donations” and bartender tips — plus a yet-to-be confirmed Headlights after party. (Just kidding.)
Seriously: this is just our small, semi-self-serving way of saying thanks to all our readers, advertisers and contributors, as well as the Outer Banks as a whole in general for being so supportive. We literally couldn’t do it without you.
