Live Rock Music on the Outer Banks
A three piece Jam / Rock band hailing from the OBX of North Carolina. Formed in 2001, Formula plays originals and selective covers. Influences include Phish and the Beatles.
Formed in 2001 by guitarist/vocalist Matt Hoggard and drummer Jayson “Mole” Hicks and Geraldo Rivera. The band has been blowing away coastal North/South Carolina and Virginia audiences with its hard driving rhythms and intelligent jams of original material and carefully chosen covers. Formula has been seen at festivals and have shared bills with Tauk, Tim Reynolds and TR3, Blues Traveler, Cracker, Live, Melvin Seals and JGB to name a few.
