Get ready for the return of the Annual Preformance Foodservice’s Outer BanksChowder Cookoff, where local restaurants will compete for the coveted title of Best Seafood Chowder, and a chance to take home a share of $1750 in cash prizes! Come hungry and ready to vote for your favorite at this exciting culinary event.
What to Expect:
- Tasty Samples: Enjoy unlimited tastings of a variety of chowders from the area’s top chefs.
- People’s Choice Voting: Your vote counts! Choose your favorite chowder to determine the People’s Choice winner.
- Drink Tickets: Your ticket includes two beverage tickets, with your choice of beer, wine, or soda/water.
Important Info:
- Limited Tickets: This event sells out every year! Only 300 tickets are available, and there will be NO tickets sold at the door, so make sure to purchase yours today.
- Family Friendly: Kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult (drink tickets not included, but they can enjoy as much chowder as they like).
- Outdoor Event: Held in the backyard of Outer Banks Brewing Station, so dress appropriately for the season and enjoy the fresh air!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made changes to the ticket purchasing process for the 2025 OBX Taste of The Beach. At this time, each event requires a separate ticket purchase. If you are purchasing tickets for multiple events, please note that you will need to complete a separate checkout for each one.
