Eclectic rock covers from the greats of the ’60’s, ’70’s on up through today. The Mo-Rons are led by OBX local music veteran of 35+ years, Monte Hooker. The current lineup includes Monte (guitar and vocals), Scott Nickens (bass and vocals), and Ali Shield (drums and vocals). Throughout the last few years, we have begun to play many different venues/restaurants up and down the Outer Banks, and are also available for private parties.
In 2019, we were voted “Best Local Band” in OBX Today’s “Best of the Beach”. We are very thankful for all those who voted and appreciate everyone who supports OBX local music!
