They are known for their energetic stage presence, storytelling and overall musicianship.
Mane
In a time when the entire world is more starved of human connectivity than maybe anytime in history, Australian artist MANE has penned perfect, booming, beautiful anthems that celebrates the people that mean the most to her and the love that those relationships represent. Her breakout hit ‘Chasing Butterflies’ clocked up over 2 million streams before the release of debut EP ‘Coping Mechanisms’ which features lush, baroque pop production. MANE’s soaring vocals and dark, furious energy serves to only intensify the lyrics she sings.
MANES explosive indie pop anthems, deep brooding vocals and fierce live performing continue to prove she’s an exciting new talent in music. Self-taught and inspired by the likes of Florence and the Machine, Hayley Williams & St Vincent MANE has spent the last few years transforming the music she makes from a pastime that brought high’s and low’s into a career that brings strength and solidarity.
Landon Elliott
Landon Elliott is an old spirit, and it shows in his voice. Its rasp and grain – forged in North Carolina’s huge-sky Outer Banks, where he lived until he was 22 – bring his songs so resonantly to life that by rights it should belong to a much older person. That impression is accentuated by his mountain-man build and beard… but, mainly, it’s the voice that strikes you.
Elliott’s tunes tell stories about a way of life and what happens when you break away from it, and his singing hits you in the gut. If he makes you reconsider your own world-view, he’ll be happy: the reason he makes music is to let people know he’s in their corner. “I’m trying to give my doubts a name and place, because a lot of people relate to that,” he says. “I hope they get to feel that their own doubts are heard.”
