OBX Brewing Station – First Restaurant to be Named Ocean Friendly Establishment
Plastic Ocean Project has teamed up with Surfrider OBX Chapter with an initiative to recognize local businesses for their efforts in curbing the “single-use plastics” used in their establishments. Over 500 million straws, enough to fill 127 school buses, are used every day in the USA for only a few minutes. Eventually, most of these straws end up in our oceans. So please skip the straw!
